Ride above the rainforest for island and sea views.
The SkyCab rises from Oriental Village to the summit of Gunung Machinchang. On a clear day, the ride opens up wide views across Langkawi’s ridges and the Andaman Sea. Allow time for the viewing platforms and go early for gentler queues.
The journey itself is part of the experience: each cabin gradually clears the tree line, so the views unfold slowly rather than all at once. Bring water, allow time to linger at the platforms, and return to the resort before the afternoon heat peaks.
